What Do You Really Want?

Have you ever found yourself wanting more from life?

When you want to change something in your life what do you do? How do you do it? What is the method by which you create the change?

Do you make the change and it's done, completed? Do you make the change and your life totally realigns to create what you want as happening? Or do you take one step forward, one step backward and sometimes are successful or not?

Or do you rationalize, saying “it's too hard,” “I can't do anything about it,” or “someday I will do it” and just generally give up for now?

For some people, this is a way of life. They have tried to change so many times, that the power with which they began with diminishes. Its locked up, in the thoughts of “how do I do that?” “its too hard” “its too scary” “I dont know what to do” or “maybe some day” and when they try to change the next time, the thoughts come up again, like a broken record.

Well, why is this so? What happens in your consciousness that makes you stop, give up, rationalize, or just ignore away the changes you really want to make? Where has the power gone that you used to use when you were an energetic kid, an enthused teenager, or wherever you are now, sometimes excited about life, sometimes not, to telling yourself that succumbing to an outside push is more desirable than actually living the life you want to experience?

Beliefs! Everyone has their own uniquely structured consciousness and their own unique beliefs. Most of the beliefs are transparent, so you don’t even notice they’re there. Beliefs show up as stuck energy, stopping you, making you give up, rationalize away, or create fears so big that you surrender to the limited ideas you are experiencing in that moment. We may get drawn into a thought, like "Others needs are more important" or "I could never do that" or even "I don't know how to do it, so I will just let it go for now," and “It's not that important to change.” And, at that point, you let go of the determination to get what you really want.

So what can you do? You can tell yourself to stop being so stupid (criticize yourself) but that doesn't get people too far. You can psyche yourself up, and get yourself all excited, but that doesn't last, because since you haven't removed the underlying stuck beliefs, the feelings that were pushed away come back to the surface. You can wish them away, ignore them, or you can go on a spiritual journey into consciousness, and "discreate" them at their source. You can reintegrate the energy so it will feel like the blocks never existed, and take control of your own mind.

When that happens, you are on the path to being truly free. Free to create what you really want, with the confidence that you, yourself, did it. And if you learn the mechanics, and use the tools ongoing, you can create many different things, not just one thing. You can explore the physical world and the non-physical world. You can explore any reality, happiness, sadness, etc. because you have learned how to create them -- and how to turn them off. You don't have to remain stuck in any one reality. So now, feel in your heart, what do you really want?
